SHARK CAGE DIVING
An encounter with some of the world’s most apex predators
For the thrill seeker looking to tick off a a few bucket list experiences. We work with one of the regions’s leading shark cage diving crews to deliver a dive for your memory books. We’ve coupled the diving experience with a visit to a charming mountain vineyard for lunch before we make our way along the ever impressive Clarence Drive. The most incredible day out of the city!
SOUTHERN ATLANTIC PREDATORS
Enjoy breakfast onsite before being briefed by the leader of the diving expedition. Your wet suit and other gear will be presented on the boat together with the most helpful and experienced crews in the industry. The 20 minute trip to Shark Ally lies ahead, followed by the most incredible experience as you dive and view from the safety of a custom built cage. Nothing is guaranteed as we are in their environment but sightings of great whites, copper sharks (bronze whalers) and even the occasional stingray are all possible during the dive. Film footage and photographs are available after the dive. CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE OF WHAT THE DIVE ENTAILS.
LUNCH & Sip AT THE FRAME HOUSE
Our midday stop is at Bosman Family Vineyards in the Hemel-en-Aarde Wine Valley which translates directly into ‘Heaven & Earth’. Cooled by Atlantic breezes, carpeted in vineyards and folded in the arms of fynbos mountains, a peaceful place, situated in the part of the valley where vineyards grow amidst the fynbos and visitors are encouraged to engage with the wines, with nature and with each other. Delicious tapas-style treats complement the wine tasting and superb coffees are on offer at the Frame House.
“a drive home to remember”
Some say this could be the most scenic drive in the world, we tend to agree but we’ll let you form your own opinion. Clarence drive provides the setting for our trip home. Built into the rock faces of Koel Bay, just a few feet above the ocean in places. We’ll stop for a a few frame worthy photographs before heading back to your accommodation in the city or in the winelands.
