A BUCKET LIST ITEM FOR ENTUSIASTIC HIKERS VISITING THE MOTHER CITY. SUMMIT THE MOUNTAIN WITH OUR PROFESSIONAL ADVENTURE GUIDE, PHOTOGRAPHER AND BARISTA; BRENDON WAINRIGHT.
ONE MOUNTAIN
MANY WAYS UP
The guardian of the Mother City, Table Mountain National Park is a special place that fully deserves the attention it demands. Summiting the mountain means reaching a total height of 1084 meters above sea level (3550 ft) where you’ll play witness to some of the most memorable views of your time in South Africa. There are a number of different routes and angles of approach hikers can use when making the ascent, one should however always make use of a local guide to amplify your experience and ensure your safety.
YOUR MOUNTAIN COMPANION
Specialist mountain guide, pro photographer and barista Brendon Wainwright has thousands of hours of experience on the mountain and puts the emphasis on moving at your pace for your enjoyment. Even when he’s not guiding he can be found exploring new trails and trying a new brew on the slopes of the mountain. Along the way you will learn about the unique vegetation found on the mountain which forms a part of the Fynbos Kingdom; the world’s smallest but most diverse floral region. There are more species of plants on the mountain than there are in the entire United Kingdom! Finding the best spot to make a cup of perfectly brewed local coffee or tea while enjoying the views is a given.
