An immersive experience with one of the biggest mammals in the
Southern Hemisphere just 90 minutes from Cape Town

SOUTHERN RIGHT BEAUTIES

Every year for 5-6 months (July - November) the area of Walker Bay near the town of Hermanus attracts some of the world’s most spectacular mammals; the Southern Right Whales. Migrating from Antarctica, they arrive in the waters of the bay with one intention; to mate and calve. We’ve created an experience that allows you to get closer to them than ever before.

Famous for their majestic nature and gargantuan size, the Southern Right Whale has always been a fascination for many. Their playful nature and rarity together with the nurturing and selfless behaviour when it comes to taking care of their young calves make for a truly memorable viewing experience. We team up with the most renowned Whale Watching Teams consisting of marine biologists and an expert boat crew to elevare your experience.

THE GIVING OVERBERG REGION

We venture into the breathatking Hemel-en-Aarde (Heaven and Earth) Valley in the afternoon for a lazy lunch and optional wine experience. The valley's rolling hills, proximity to the ocean, and diverse soil types uniquely contribute to its reputation for producing outstanding cool-climate wines.

Discover this idyllic setting through wine tastings at renowned boutique wineries, leisurely vineyard strolls, and the delectable farm-to-table cuisine offered by local restaurants. The valley's serene atmosphere and breathtaking vistas make it an essential destination for wine, food and nature enthusiasts alike. Our journey home from here takes along the cliffs of Clarence Drive, some say this could be the most scenic drive in the world, we tend to agree but we’ll let you form your own opinion. Built into the rock faces of Koel Bay, just a few feet above the ocean in places.
