A relaxed and immersive journey through one of South Africa’s most beautiful and storied wine regions,
known for its boutique estates, French heritage, and world-class wines.
the CHOICE OF VINEYARDS
Each stop has been chosen not just for its wines, but for the passionate winemakers who are putting their own spin on old and new world wines. Our close relationships with these estates open the door to more personal tastings, unique cuvées, and time with some of the region’s most engaging storytellers.
Some of partner vineyards Atlas Swift, Black Elephant Vinters, Anthonij Rupert, Klein Goederust, Stony Brook, Colmant MCC, Rickety Bridge, Boekenhoutskloof, Mont Rochelle, Lynx, Grande Provence among others. We are able to customize your tour to preference of varietal, region and specific wineries where possible

We ease into the day at Atlas Swift, a boutique winery focused on minimal-intervention winemaking and letting the vineyards speak for themselves. From citrusy coastal freshness to rich stone fruit from inland valleys, each glass tells a slightly different story. Tastings are often guided by the winemaker, making this stop feel more like a conversation than a formal presentation.
AMONG OTHERS, here, you’ll experience a horizontal tasting of Chardonnays sourced from distinct Cape regions, showcasing just how expressive and versatile this single grape can be.
-
Next, we shake things up at Black Elephant Vintners, a winery that throws the rulebook out the window. Their multi-sensory tastings pair each wine with curated music, turning the experience into something unexpected and seriously fun. You might try a glass of their MCC Brut Rosé, a juicy Syrah, or a bold Rhône-style red, all crafted with minimal intervention and a lot of personality. The vibe is playful and rebellious, with a focus on breaking down the snobbery around wine.
This is not your typical tasting room and that’s exactly the point. -
After two tastings, we head into the heart of Franschhoek for lunch at either Frank’s Corner, a relaxed bistro with great outdoor seating, or Paulina’s at Rickety Bridge, which pairs classic South African dishes with vineyard views. We’ve built in time for you to explore a bit of the village on foot. Browse local galleries, pop into the Huguenot Chocolate Shop, or just wander the leafy lanes and take it all in.
-
We end the day at Anthonij Rupert Wyne, a beautifully maintained estate with mountain views and a relaxed, timeless feel. Tastings take place in a historic Cape Dutch manor house, where you can sip at your own pace in a space full of character. The wines range from elegant Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) to bold reds and old-vine Chenin Blanc, with optional pairings like local cheese or handmade nougat. It’s a laid-back yet polished way to wrap up the day, great wine, great setting, no rush.
*Please note that this final stop could be skipped should guests choose to extend their time in the village after lunch.
