DAY 1: CAPE PENINSULA TOUR
A day of truly breathtaking scenery. We’ll cruise along unspoiled coastline from Cape Town to Simons Town. Join us as we experience some of the gem’s the famous ‘Cape of Good Hope’ has to offer. Africa’s most sought after strip, a penguin colony to keep you company and a taste of the local delicacies makes for the perfect day south of the city. DAY 2: STELLENBOSCH WINELANDS TOUR
Treat your palate at some of SA's most sought after wine tasting and food destinations. The Stellenbosch wine route serves up incredible scenery, a host of unforgettable vineyards and historical cellars. Award winning wines, stunning farms and touring companions who aim to please, this experience is a must. 4 Extraordinary Wine Farms. DAY 3: ONTO THE GARDEN ROUTE

• Coffee and breakfast stop at the No.1 Farm Stall in South Africa, Peregrines. A host of delicacies and refreshments are available and created from strictly local produce.

• Our journey then takes us north to one of the Cape’s most sought after Game Reserve's, The Garden Route Game Lodge, where you'll be taken on a 2 hour safari drive. 4 of the Big 5 await if you’re lucky enough to spot them! Enjoy a cocktail and lunch on the viewing deck before your safari as you look over the vast open bush. You'll love this location!

• We'll then head to one of our favorite secret sunset spots close to Herold's Bay for a sunset drink. Loads of incredible ocean views! (ONLY POSSIBLE WHEN TOURING WITH 6 PAX OR LESS AS 4X4 VEHICLES NEEDED)

• Our overnight accommodation is based in the seaside towns of Herolds Bay or Wilderness at a 4 STAR Hotel, Beachhouse or Guesthouse where your tour companion will prepare a traditional South African Braai (BBQ) coupled with tasty side dishes. (Vegetarian + vegan options available).

DAY 4 - TAKE TO THE SKYS, FORESTS AND MEET THE ELEPHANTS

• After a warm we head to the Map of Africa viewing point. The forest and hills have formed together to create a formation that mirrors the African continent, it’s uncanny! For the thrill seeker, guests are able to para-glide over the forests and lagoons of the Wilderness. You will also have option to the paragliding is taking part in the world’s highest natural bungee jump situated at the Bloukrans Bridge.

• The Knysna Elephant Park is our midday stop. A chance to walk and interact with Elephants. The Park is committed to the rehabilitation and protection of the elephants and we have gone to great lengths to insure the credibility of their ethical practices. You’ll be in the hands of an Elephant Expert Guide. This is an experience like no other and one that will certainly create some of your best memories in SA. Additionally in this area guests have the chance to enjoy a guided ATV adventure through the forests of the Garden Route National Park. The 7km trail takes a total of 30 minutes to complete.

• Enrico's on the beach awaits! A late lunch/early evening dinner experience with a view of the Keurbooms lagoon, beer, wine or gin in hand, it's the perfect way to end of a phenomenal day.

• Overnight in 4 STAR Hotel, Guesthouse or Guest Lodge in the Storms River region

DAY 5: TSITSIKAMMA NATIONAL PARK & THE EASTERN CAPE

• We’ll link up with the team at Untouched Adventures for one of the most enjoyed activities in the area, the 2-3 hour Storms River Kayak & Lilo adventure. Explore deep into the Storms River Gorge and enjoy the long, deep, quiet pools with deep caves and ancient indigenous forests that the Garden Route is famous for. (While the kayaking adventure is not a particularly strenuous task physically guests still do tend to tire later in the day). We’ll have lunch in the park before departing east toward the Addo National Elephant Park.

• The afternoon will allow guests some leisure team as we check into 4 STAR Accommodation in the form of a Guest Lodge on the Sundays River. Dinner on this evening will take place at a renowned restaurant on site or within close proximity.

DAY 6: ADDO NATIONAL ELEPHANT PARK & DESTINATION FORT GOVERNOR

• After breakfast we’ll head into the Addo Elephant Park on a guided safari drive experience. The park boasts an elephant population of over 650 elephants and well as 4 members of the big 5. The chances of seeing elephants bathing at watering holes is always good as midday temperatures reach above 30 degrees Celsius during this time of the year. We’ll spend 3-4 hours in the park which will include light snacks and drinks in an air-conditioned vehicle.

• Once exiting the park we’ll head to our final destination, a 90 minute drive east. Jo & Sean await your arrival at the incredible Fort Governor Estate where you’ll be in the hands of some of the very best hunting experience hosts anywhere in SA.

We employ the concept of tour companions rather than tour guides. This really will be like traveling with a new best friend. We run the tour at your pace and according to your preference. Your hosts will be Blaine Smith or Ryan Louw (Co-Founders), local South African tourist guides. Blaine has lived in 5 of South Africa’s 9 different provinces and currently ventures all over the country on various expeditions. Ryan chose to make the Western Cape his home after a stint up north, you won’t find a bigger patriot for his country and a better Western Cape expert anywhere else! Both are extremely well traveled, with a wealth of knowledge and an unrivaled passion for local travel, you’ll be in the best of South African hands.
