Keermont is known for its elegant, small-batch wines and scenic valley setting. The cellar, housed in a renovated tractor workshop, reflects a rustic, hands-on approach. Winemaker Alex Starey, who has led the process since 2005, focuses on minimal intervention and a deep connection to the land. Now a member of the prestigious Cape Winemakers Guild, his work is best expressed in standout wines like the Syrah and Terrasse white blend, each with real personality and a strong sense of place.

OLDENBURG VINEYARDS
Set in the majestic Banghoek Valley, Oldenburg boasts one of the most spectacular mountain settings in the Winelands. Their “eight elements” philosophy reflects in wines that are complex, structured, and expressive. At the helm is winemaker Nick van Aarde (headhuted for this project), whose thoughtful, terroir-driven approach brings out the character and balance in every bottle.

From there, the coastal route winds past Llandudno and Camps Bay, offering a scenic return to the city. Along the way, your guide will serve a refreshing gin cocktail made with local fynbos-infused Pesky Hobbit gin, perfect for sipping with the sea breeze in your hair.

Owner run and managed, Walkers Plains Camp is located in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, forming part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The area is renowned for its excellent game viewing and birdwatching opportunities in truly unspoilt wilderness. The lodge is set on an open plain savannah with expansive views overlooking grasslands and the Drakensberg mountains. Anchored by a central, welcoming homestead, eight luxury rooms, each with its own private deck and plunge pool, are spread out amongst the tree line. Guests will feel at home with light filled interiors that spill out towards the wonders of nature.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL

  • Reveler Tours SA (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to change the itinerary, accommodation, mode of transport and route of travel on any tours(s) and experience(s) should circumstances out of our control dictate.

  • We require a 50% deposit payment to confirm your booking unless otherwise specified. The balance is due a maximum of 60 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified.

  • Reservations made within 90 days of departure of the tour(s) or experience(s) must be paid in full at the time the reservation is confirmed.

  • TERMS: ‘Reveler Tours SA (Pty) Ltd’ , ‘Reveler Africa’, ‘Reveler Tours’ and ‘Reveler’ refer to the company. ‘Booker’ refers to the customer.


CANCELATION POLICY

  • 60 days or longer - subject to a cash handling fee of 10% or less of the value of the experience booked

  • 59 days - 30 days: 50% of the value of the experience booked

  • 30 days or less: 100% of the value of the experience booked

  • No-show: 100% of the value of the experience booked

  • COVID-19 CANCELATION POLICY: Tours and Experiences unable to take place as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic will first be deferred to a later date. Future guests who wish to cancel their trips during this time will receive a travel credit note for the same value as their payment valid for 18 months from the end date of their planned experience. This will be done at no extra cost. Refunds for cancelled tours can be issued due to TRAVEL BANS ONLY (INABILITY TO TRAVEL TO SA OR LEAVE FROM SA) OR PROOF OF A POSITIVE PCR TEST ONLY. These will be dealt with on a case by case basis. You will not be refunded according to our COVID-19 cancelation policy should you CHOOSE to not travel to SA as precaution but you will be offered a Travel Credit Note as described above. We thank you for your understanding.

  • SUDDEN ILLNESS OR INJURY: Cancellation requests due to sudden illness or injury will first be deferred to a later date where possible and agreed upon by both booker and Reveler subject to availability. A maximum refund of 50% (less) the applicable cash handling and relevant bank fees will be granted in cases where the guest does not have travel insurance cover and the reported illness or injury did not require hospitalization or quarantine. In the case where Reveler have paid 3rd party suppliers in order to curate the experience refund requests due to sudden illness or injury will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

  • BOOKINGS MADE ON OTHER PLATFORMS: Bookings and cancelations made on 3rd party platforms (such as Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO etc) fall subject to the cancelation policy of those respective 3rd party platforms. It is the responsibility of the individual or the group who made the booking to be aware of what those cancelation policies are. If these bookings are made by Reveler and cancelations take place it will be Reveler’s responsibility to secure new accommodation should there be viable availability.

PAYMENT METHODS

  • Bank Transfers: Reveler Tours SA (Pty) Ltd accepts direct EFT payments into our bank account held with First National Bank in South Africa. Payments into our account will need to be accompanied by a ‘Proof of Payment’ document or slip provided by the bank of the customer. This needs to be emailed to info@revelertours.com. Reveler Tours (Pty) Ltd will confirm receipt of the payment once the funds have cleared into our accepting account.

  • Credit Card Payment Premium: All payments made using our online payment links below are subject to a 2 - 5% charge over and above the amount quoted for your tour / experience unless waived by your Travel Designer.

  • YOCO Payment Gateway and Secure Online Payment Links: Reveler Tours SA (Pty) Ltd makes use South Africa’s #1 online payment solution for small businesses. This is our preferred method of payment when accepting monies from customers living outside of South Africa using a non-South African bank account. Yoco accepts both VISA and MasterCard credit and debit cards. Please click here for more inclusions and exclusions.

  • PayFast Payment Gateway and Secure Online Payment Links: In the unlikely event that Yoco does not work; Reveler Tours SA (Pty) Ltd will make use of the services of PayFast, an alternate online payment solution. PayFast accepts both VISA and MasterCard credit cards.

  • PayPal: Reveler Tours SA (Pty) Ltd accepts payments via PayPal. PayPal payments carry a 5% charge over and above the amount quoted for your tour / experience unless waived by your Travel Designer.

  • Cash Payments: Only accepted on a case by case basis and only ever possible after a deposit payment has been received using one of the above methods. Reveler Tours SA (Pty) Ltd will never agree to a ‘cash on the day’ proposal in the attempt to complete payment for a tour or experience.

REFUNDS

  • Agreed upon refunds will take a 2-14 working days to be completed depending on the country where your receiving bank account is. If the individual or group is cancelling they will be responsible for paying a 10% (of the booking or item value) cash handling fee (plus) any additional bank charges or reverse online payment charges incurred by Reveler Tours SA (Pty) Ltd as a result of the cancelation or a request for a refund.

  • Refunds due to circumstances outside of our own control such as bad weather or cancelled flights by airlines will carry an administration fee of 5% plus the relevant fees charged by the bank of the recipient and/or the payment platform originally used.

  • Refunds will only be processed by direct bank/wire transfers, PayPal and/or via the payment system the payment was received through where possible. Cash refunds can be arranged on a case by cash basis and carry a cash handling fee of 10%.


TOURING VEHICLES & TOURIST GUIDES

  • All Reveler Tours (Pty) Ltd vehicles are serviced as per the recommended service intervals outlined by the manufacturer.

  • All Reveler Tours (Pty) Ltd permanently employed and freelance Tour Companions (guides) are qualified tourist guides as per South African Tourism legislation.

  • All Reveler Tours (Pty) Ltd vehicles are covered by R10 Million Passenger Liability Insuance

  • Permanent and freelance Tour Companions (guides) are in possession of professional drivers permits issued by the South African Traffic Department.

  • Reveler Tours SA Pty (Ltd), it’s employees, and agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from any liability in respect of loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person or their luggage or other personal property under any circumstances whatsoever whilst on tour.
